Earth Womb

4/22/2021

As it becomes more and more obvious that our natural world, the environment, and our earth are in desperate need of our help and love and respect I keep getting called back to womb wisdom.

Womb wisdom can be many things. One of the most significant pieces of it for me is how guiding womxn to connect with their wombs naturally inclines them to connect more deeply with nature. It's hard to describe how or why this happens but it so clearly happens that I am often in awe. We come from the womb and we come from the earth. We consume food and water from the earth everyday; we walk on the earth; we breathe in their air. These are integral parts of being human.  These are integral parts of the earth.

I first noticed this a while ago, when I offered the online course Dancing Your Moon Cycle. But actually it goes back even further to a Reiki session with Jocelyn Clark (Reiki Cottage) when she suggested I read Wild Feminine by Tami Lynn Kent. She generously lent me that book which I didn't pay much attention to for probably another year. And then when I picked it up again everything I read resonated. All of it. How womb wisdom connects us to the wild, to nature. How it connects us to our ancestors. How deep long held patterns of conditioning, emotion, and stories can be held here. During this time I also realized I was doing some deep holding in my own womb. Physically, yes there was tension, but I knew that tension was associated with something bigger. And as I continue to explore this medicine and let go more and more of what's holding me back from being authentically who I am, and feeling connected deeply to nature and the earth, I return to parts of me that have been lost for a long time, and parts of the womxn in my family that were shut down for many, many reasons.

I sometimes think that things like womb wisdom become fads. Just like how Yoga, and ancient science and art, has become a fad. And that discourages me to be honest. I guess because these things start to be approached without the respect and reverence they deserve.

If I told you that you carry a sacred seed in you that allows the human race to continue, and to continue to evolve physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, would you believe me? If I told you that this place in your temple, your body, is the root of all your creativity and that it connects you to all the womxn who have come before you and all the womxn who have come after you, would you feel that remembering in your body? And if I told you that you are connected to a sacred cycle which is connected to the cycle of the moon, nature's seasons, and the rhythm and heartbeat of the earth, would you then feel a piece in you open up to reveal this sacred wisdom that's been passed down through centuries?

These are just some of the things about our wombs that deserve respect and reverence. And the earth deserves just as much respect and reverence, if not more.

It's no surprise or coincidence that nature has been neglected, trampled on, destroyed around the same time in history that womxn have been deemed the lesser sex, witches were burned, we've been paid less to do the same work as men, etc. etc. I don't want to go too much into the negative. But sometimes it's needed in order to open our eyes and hearts. If reading this makes you feel something, that is a good thing. Can you be with those feelings? What are they telling you?

Feelings and womxn and the earth is a whole other blog post that I'll share with you some day. And there's so much more about womb wisdom to share. For now know that you deserve all the love, respect, equality, abundance, joy, prosperity, opportunity, kindness in the world! And so does the earth. <3

What's Your Vision for Women?

10/6/2020

I like to check in and review/revise my vision for my work in the world every so often. But really, it's not work. It's me being who I am. And when you are you, you bring your "work" into the world too!

Sometimes I like to record myself speaking about it. I find when I do it that way words come out that I might not if I were writing instead. So yesterday I sat down to record my vision and now I'm sharing it with you!

I'm sharing because this vision feels closer than it ever has before. We are really shifting and changing now, even if you don't feel it, even if you're resisting it. Change is going to serve us. It is serving us.

Below is the uncut, uncensored version of my vision. It flowed out of me easily and includes my sexy morning voice, me gulping down bone broth, and some swear words. Prefer a cleaner, written out version? Click here.

If my vision resonates with you, reach out! Let's chat! I can help guide you in that direction. Free 30 min. Connection Calls are available to those who feel pulled to 1-on-1 Coaching with me. It's such a fun journey! And can help you shift and adjust through these changes.

Now share your vision with me! What's your vision for women in our world moving forward? How about the LGBTQ2 community? The BIPOC community? The homeless community? The environment? We all have our own unique set of gifts to share! Who will benefit from you being you?

Loves,
I have a morning routine. It's all the things that make me feel good and set me up for a great day ahead! This morning I'm blessed to have witnessed the sunrise, and danced, and made myself a mug of hot water with lemon. I'm listening to some blissful music and now writing to you! What a beautiful part of my morning. Thank you. And thank you for being you!

Happy Women's Day!

You deserve to be celebrated every day! Literally.

The way you tend to your children, your pets, your home. They way you walk around with your heart overflowing, ready and willing to help when and where help is needed. They way you feel so deeply. How attuned you are to your senses and your inner world. The mark you leave on any place you go. I see that, and I celebrate that in you!!

As an offering of this celebration please head to my website and help yourself to the services and herbal blends I have on special for you, beginning today March 8th and continuing until Tuesday March 10th. V-steam consultations, V-steam herb blends, aaaand a very special offer on my Yoga & V-steaming class I'm co-guiding alongside Juliane Nowe on Thursday March 27th!!!

I breathe into the vision of a world where every day is Women's Day.
Where every day we are celebrated for our unique gifts and talents and beingness.
When we receive complete respect and reverence for who we are and equality on all fronts.
And may that include the same for Mother Nature, our Great Mother and supporter.
May she be blessed as she blesses us.

The more we embrace who we are, the closer we get to this.

Not sure how to 'embrace who you are'?
Connect with me.
Let's chat and do this dance of life together. ;)

Womb Medicine

Hi, friends:
I hope you've had a great summer and are enjoying the transition into fall!

It's been a while since I've written. I could say that I've been extra busy with my garden and the travelling I did in August but I'll be really honest, I've been a little nervous about sharing with you the direction I am taking with my work and my offerings. :) Some of you have been here for years and know me back from my days teaching Yoga at Satori. I've grown and changed a lot since then so of course the work I share with the world has too. This medicine is so important and needed right now that I've realized it's a bit selfish to hold back from sharing it for fear of what people might think. So, I step in...

As it becomes more and more obvious that our natural world, the environment, and Mother Earth are in desperate need of our help and love and respect I feel more and more called to Womb Wisdom. What is Womb Wisdom? It can be many things. Most significant to me right now is how guiding women to connect with their wombs naturally inclines them to connect more deeply with Mother Earth. It's hard to describe how or why this happens but it so clearly happens that I am often in awe. We come from the womb and we come from the earth. We consume food and water from the earth everyday; we walk on her; we breathe in her air. These are integral parts of being human. These are integral parts of the earth. (I plan to do a blog post on my personal journey with Womb Wisdom soon and will share it here when I do)

This medicine is a return to our true selves, and a return to our Earth Mother. She is precious and she holds and supports us. As we hold our wombs without judgement and with love, we hold her. We nourish each other and this is what the world needs.

I offer from my heart to yours the following offerings.

Sacred Woman Soiree
Sunday Sept. 29th
6:30-9

Movement
Meditation
New Moon Intentions
Creativity
V-Steaming

What is V-Steaming?

It's a sacred practice that helps with all PMS and Menopause symptoms; infections; fibroids; cysts; infertility; feelings of disconnection to your body, your womb, your feminine self, your power, your sensual and sexual self, and so much more.

I continue to offer Coaching for Women. As always sessions are tailored to your individual needs, dreams, and desires. Lately I am inspired by the process of Re-Parenting ourselves and how truly effective and powerful that can be. I'm also seeing amazing results for women who are willing to explore their limiting beliefs around what it means to be a women in our world today and how that shows up, especially when around men.

Want to Know Who I Work With?

7/15/2019

I love my clients!
They're the women that you are drawn to. The women who have the kindest, most compassionate hearts. The women that you know are making an impact in this world, some of them just by being themselves.

They're the women who light the room up when they enter it. They're the ones you call when you've had a really shitty day and don't know who else you can talk to. And the ones who remember that important date or event you have coming up and send you a text about it.

They are intelligent, kind, and capable. They are thinkers, feelers, and healers. They are talented beyond measure. And they love with all their hearts.

But, they give themselves no credit for these things.

Instead they play it small. They choose not to stand out. They fear sharing their talents and creative abilities with the world. If they draw up the courage to do it anyway, it comes with a lot of self-doubt, and maybe nights spent awake thinking about all the things they could have done differently.

They're sometimes taken advantage of because of their kindness and their willingness to share their heart with the world. They struggle with boundaries and saying "no".

They struggle with knowing their worth, that they deserve amazing things, and that the world wants to give that to them. They might think themselves undeserving or that everyone else should have what they want first.

They struggle to express their needs and put themselves first. In relationships, they're the healer, the caretaker, the strong one, but when they need someone to turn to there's no one there.

These beautiful women are often happy on the surface but in quiet moments feel and know that there is something more. And when/if they reach a point of unhappiness or wanting more for themselves and their lives, they judge their feelings, thinking they should just be grateful and happy for what they have.

Radiant soul, this is your permission slip:

You are allowed to be the biggest, fullest, most authentic expression of who you are, and love who you are 100%!
You are allowed to show up, light up, and express yourself! When you let go of playing small you benefit your family, your community, and the world. Yes, you are that powerful!

Also, you have permission to be powerful!

Your creative talents and abilities are a part of all our healing! You have permission to share them openly and freely and know within your heart and soul that they are magnificent, regardless of what anyone else says.

You were born with permission to say "no" when you want to say "no" and permission to say "yes" when you want to say "yes". Remember that. It is your right.

You have permission to tell your friends, family, strangers, how you will and will not be treated.

You have permission to use your voice! For your good, for the good of others, for the good of the planet.

You have permission to express your needs, know that they are important, and know that you are worthy of them. Always.

You have permission to be happy, unhappy, sad, mad, angry, confused, lost, listless, ashamed, joyful, giddy, excited, all of it! Feeling unhappy about a part of your life does not mean you are ungrateful. It means you are ready for change.

You have permission to enjoy being the loving, kind, sensitive, feeling, passionate, sensual, fun-loving, empowered, strong, expressive, intelligent, sexy, playful and creative woman that you are and to want a life that feels good.

This is your birthright.
You have permission to enjoy being the loving, kind, sensitive, feeling, passionate, sensual, fun-loving, empowered, strong, expressive, intelligent, sexy, and playful woman that you are and to want a life that feels good.

That is your birthright.

Want some help with this? I know how to hold space for you on your journey of stepping into the fullness of who you are and living a life you love. I know because I have been one of these women.

With empowered love,

Natalie

Moon and Womb Wisdom

6/24/2019

Did you get to see the full moon last week?
Gosh, she was beautiful!

Do you feel that magnetic draw to her? Your mouth opening in awe, your breath pausing, as she appears from behind the clouds. Or maybe you find yourself a bit more sensitive, a bit more emotional around the full moon time?
It's not just in your head. As women it's so natural to feel that connection. Our menstrual cycle is tied to the same cycle as the moon. And not just our cycles but also our emotions, our creativity, and our healing. Just as the animals in the forest behave differently around the full moon, so do we. Just as the moon pulls the tides, she also pulls at our emotions and our sense of self in this world.
Sounding like you? I've got the perfect course for you to dive into. A 4 week online course, called Moon and Womb Wisdom, that begins when you choose and ends when you choose. The course is set up over 4 weeks to align with the 4 phases of the moon but you can continue to explore with it for as long as you'd like, for as many moon cycles as you'd like.

So picture this...each week you are aware of where you are in your cycle and where the moon is in it's cycle. You get to learn more about that connection. You get to explore and experiment with this material through guided meditations, dance, and journaling prompts. And you get to head outdoors during this beautiful time of year to play with the nature prompts, feel that deep connection to Mama Earth, and let your creativity be ignited. And that creativity moves through you with the creativity prompts and dancing meditations that suit the moon/womb phase you are playing with.

This journey is bound to help you feel more connected to your body and to yourself as a woman, to nature and the creative being that you naturally are. To remind you of how powerful you are and how powerful honouring the feminine can be. To feel more in touch and more in tune with the rhythms of life, creativity, productivity, seasons. And that you are not failing if you're own internal rhythm does not match up with the speedy pace the rest of the world moves at. Not at all. It's an incredible gift to yourself, or to a special woman in your life, to play with this online journey.

Three Ways to Rise Up!

4/29/2019

Holay, Woman! It is time to rise up!
I've had this feeling for years. And the more I observe what is happening with my family and friends, my community, my city, country, and the world, the more I know this to be true.

And with the rhythms of Mother Nature, the pull of the Moon Cycles, and the unveiling of Spring, I feel it even more.

As women, womxn, femmes, insert whatever words feels good to you here, we are needed. We are part of the balance. Part of the healing. Part of the Love that we are all searching for.

Here are three ways to begin. To rise up and share who you are with the world.
1. Express you.

Close your eyes. Imagine expressing yourself freely, authentically, without concern for what other people think. What are you doing? Are you moving or still? Are you putting energy out or receiving? Are you creating or taking in creation? Where are you? Are you talking, singing, humming, or silent? Are you alone or with someone? What feels good? What do you feel in your body? What feels like you?
2. Connect to Mama Nature.

She is you. You are her. That connection is there all the time. If you don't feel it right now, what would help you feel it? Where would you go to feel it? What surrounds you when you feel connected to nature? How do you feel when you have that connection? How do you feel when you breathe in her air? Drink her water? Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin? Walk on her earth? How does she want to connect with you?
3. Step into who you are.

Get your journal out or invite a friend over for tea and chat this one over.

What does being a woman, femme, womxn, mean to you?
It's open. There are no rules.

Soft or strong.
Vulnerable or defensive.
Big or small.
Wise or not.
Busy or not.
Loving or not.
Maybe all of these.
Without the pressure of what you been taught, what the media presents, and what your peers say, who are you?
Maybe even without the label of woman/femme/womxn, who are you?
I can't wait to meet you.
See you.
Listen to you.
Share with you.

Hold space for you to be who you are.
Hold space for your authentic expansion.

What's It Like To Feel Safe In Your Body?

4/23/2019

This past weekend I watched Brene Brown's Call to Courage on Netflix. It was excellent of course! I recommend watching it. There is so much great material in it. There's one piece that's been sticking with me that isn't even the main point of the show. Near the end she mentions that women most often feel shame around their body image and men most often feel shame around their role as providers. I have since been reflecting on this.

As women I know we are so much more than our appearance. SO much more. And I know there is some good emotional material of my own to dig into here. For now though I'll say that it angers and frustrates me to think that we still live in a culture where a women's appearance is so heavily emphasized and that it is something we still experience so much shame around.

A friend of mine said "if only eyes could see souls". I agree.

As if it isn't enough to feel pressure to look a certain way and be a certain size, how about the thousands of us who just purely don't feel safe in our bodies? Energetically many of us are not grounded in our physical bodies. Our energy is in our heads most of the time, or even beyond our heads and outside our bodies completely. Whether that's for the simple fact that you're a woman and that might not feel safe to you; or because you don't fit the particular mold set out in magazines, television, runways, social media, or even family and friends. Or perhaps you have experienced physical or emotional trauma that's left part of you believing that it's not safe to be in this body. Energetically, even the experience of an emotion that we don't want to feel can leave our energy sort of hovering above us - "Nope, don't want to go in there, don't want to feel that." Not to mention the pace of life that surrounds us, the disconnection from nature, and the constant bombardment of wifi, cell phone signals, environmental pollutants, a culture that emphasizes knowledge over embodiment, etc etc.

Let's switch this up to something a little more positive. I invite you to close your eyes and take the time to ask yourself the following questions. What would it feel like to live in a world where people feel safe in their bodies? How do those people interact with you? How do they interact with themselves? How do they move? What do they look like? How do they speak to themselves? How do they speak to you? How are they in their relationships? How are they at work? How are they in their general lives? How do they treat their bodies? How do you feel when you feel safe in your body? And how do you treat your body when you feel safe in it? Does the way you feel in your body relate to the way you feel in the world?

The above paragraph is available in audio below so that you can really feel into this and notice what comes up.

Since I began offering this work in 2010 as a Yoga Teacher and Reiki Practitioner I have emphasized the importance of grounding. And I will share more about that in another post. It is the basis and the foundation of the work it takes to feel safe and good in our bodies and in our lives. To love our bodies and our lives and each other. It sounds small and easy and it is but it is a practice that may require daily effort. Starting here, with grounding, as I do with coaching clients, and did with my Yoga and Reiki clients, prepares us for deep healing, change, and expansion within ourselves and our lives.

Our bodies are continually speaking to us, taking care of us, showing us the way. Really. Part of my role as an Authentic Expansion Coach is to remind you of that. It's a whole other conversation, several coaching sessions, or another blog post or 2 or 20 or 200.

For now, put your hands on your belly, take 3 deep breaths, and say to yourself "It is safe to be in this body. It is safe to be in this body. It is safe to be in this body".

How do you feel now? How do you feel in your body? How do you feel about your body's appearance?
You are beautiful. I mean it.
