As it becomes more and more obvious that our natural world, the environment, and our earth are in desperate need of our help and love and respect I keep getting called back to womb wisdom.
Womb wisdom can be many things. One of the most significant pieces of it for me is how guiding womxn to connect with their wombs naturally inclines them to connect more deeply with nature. It's hard to describe how or why this happens but it so clearly happens that I am often in awe. We come from the womb and we come from the earth. We consume food and water from the earth everyday; we walk on the earth; we breathe in their air. These are integral parts of being human. These are integral parts of the earth. I first noticed this a while ago, when I offered the online course Dancing Your Moon Cycle. But actually it goes back even further to a Reiki session with Jocelyn Clark (Reiki Cottage) when she suggested I read Wild Feminine by Tami Lynn Kent. She generously lent me that book which I didn't pay much attention to for probably another year. And then when I picked it up again everything I read resonated. All of it. How womb wisdom connects us to the wild, to nature. How it connects us to our ancestors. How deep long held patterns of conditioning, emotion, and stories can be held here. During this time I also realized I was doing some deep holding in my own womb. Physically, yes there was tension, but I knew that tension was associated with something bigger. And as I continue to explore this medicine and let go more and more of what's holding me back from being authentically who I am, and feeling connected deeply to nature and the earth, I return to parts of me that have been lost for a long time, and parts of the womxn in my family that were shut down for many, many reasons. I sometimes think that things like womb wisdom become fads. Just like how Yoga, and ancient science and art, has become a fad. And that discourages me to be honest. I guess because these things start to be approached without the respect and reverence they deserve. If I told you that you carry a sacred seed in you that allows the human race to continue, and to continue to evolve physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, would you believe me? If I told you that this place in your temple, your body, is the root of all your creativity and that it connects you to all the womxn who have come before you and all the womxn who have come after you, would you feel that remembering in your body? And if I told you that you are connected to a sacred cycle which is connected to the cycle of the moon, nature's seasons, and the rhythm and heartbeat of the earth, would you then feel a piece in you open up to reveal this sacred wisdom that's been passed down through centuries? These are just some of the things about our wombs that deserve respect and reverence. And the earth deserves just as much respect and reverence, if not more. It's no surprise or coincidence that nature has been neglected, trampled on, destroyed around the same time in history that womxn have been deemed the lesser sex, witches were burned, we've been paid less to do the same work as men, etc. etc. I don't want to go too much into the negative. But sometimes it's needed in order to open our eyes and hearts. If reading this makes you feel something, that is a good thing. Can you be with those feelings? What are they telling you? Feelings and womxn and the earth is a whole other blog post that I'll share with you some day. And there's so much more about womb wisdom to share. For now know that you deserve all the love, respect, equality, abundance, joy, prosperity, opportunity, kindness in the world! And so does the earth. <3 If you're looking for suggestions on what to do to help take care of the earth check out my blog post "For the Earth..."

Hello, dear ones:
I am with you, feeling the ups, downs, and bumps of this time. I've had a few days of fear and not being in grounded in my body and that's okay. This morning I woke up and thought: This is a virus. It is small (physically) and I am large (in comparison - somehow this thought helped me) I am full of wisdom and intelligence that dances all throughout my body and cells I have a healthy immune system Why am I giving all my power to a virus? And it shifted. I feel more grounded, more calm, more in my center. I've been pulling back from social media. I find when I'm on it that the fear is amplified. At this moment though I do plan to do some lives on IG and FB offering some love and tips, etc., at some point. Please know that I am honouring myself deeply at this time and will only be sharing lives when and if I feel centered and feel called to from my heart, instead of the slight pressure I sometimes feel to share something meaningful there. What's grounding me at the moment? Tuning into my womb Dancing Being so grateful for, and using often, my connection to my inner wisdom and guidance. I am my own authority. I am following all the suggestions set out by CDC and GNB at this time, but when it comes to everything I see on the media and social media I check in - does this feel true to me? Does this align with where I want to be right now? Is this helpful to take in right now? I'm not suggesting being ignorant. I'm suggesting the exact opposite. I'm suggesting you trust yourself and listen to your body's messages. Mine has been suggesting I drink lots of water, honour my emotions, and it has been telling me very clearly when to go to bed, which is usually earlier than I think. Hearing our body's wisdom and messages comes when we are grounded, not in fight or flight. For that reason I'm offering single coaching sessions at 25% off to help you ground and tune in. They can be done virtually through a video chat, or by phone. If you'd like to honour your emotions and feel calmer and more supportive of yourself and your family during this time, reply to this email and let's connect. I am wrapping you in love. Hello, my dear friends:
If you're a sensitive person like me you may have noticed some stress, anxiety, or tension this week. I think the first week back to work after the holidays can be challenging for some. Also the current global environmental and political climate is a bit hard to take in. I'm attending to my nervous system and my heart and would like to remind you that there are plenty of resources (Reconnect to Source) available to you so that you can do the same. Move your body: I just finished doing TRE - Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (video) and feel more in my body than I was prior to doing them. And this is why I suggest movement, to stay connected to our bodies and their wisdom, to let the energy move. When we do we center ourselves and make space for hope, a clearer perspective, and compassion. Support your beautiful local Yoga studios and attend a class. There is also a dance studio for adults in Fredericton now! You'll see me there Sunday nights for Ecstatic Dance. Meditate: I've created a 5 min. meditation video for you. It's available here. If you follow me on IG you have access to my 4-part Video Series for Empaths and Sensitives. Check my profile, IGTV, and stories highlights for the Videos. Loving Kindness Meditations are available on my Soundcloud. Take Action: Action is powerful and always available to you! If you can, donate to the causes you care about. I love Treesisters who have a goal of planting 1 billion trees per year in deforested areas. I have more info about that below.* Donate to local and foreign animal shelters, to conservation and environmental organizations, to Australia (see pic). There are events being offered by donation and several artists making donations when you purchase their products, all in support of Australia. Locally, Louise Farr has organized a Drumming Circle on January 15th form 7-9 at the Keswick Ridge Community Hall, 86 Route 616. Proceeds go to Australian Red Cross. Consider your purchases. Can you buy less plastic? Where is your food coming from? Have you thought about consuming less meat, composting, bringing your re-usable bags to stores, shopping local? The new year is great time to get started on these new habits. There is so much we can do to take care of the environment! Contact your local political representatives. Let them know what you will and will not be a part of it. Let them know what is important to you. Rest when you need to rest. Take care of yourself, each other, and your part of the earth. Turn off the news. Attend to your heart. Connect with your loved ones and offer them your heart. * Treesisters is the same wonderful organization who put together Sing for the Trees on International Women's Day last March. They are an amazing symbol of the connection between women and nature, and supporters of feminine-based leadership - all things that I believe in whole-heartedly. I've joined them as a Grove Tender which means I will be creating a local Grove in support of their mission. It will include a monthly event which I will share here when ready. <3 Womb work is important because of the connection mentioned above - that of women and nature. Working with our wombs helps to re-establish this connection as it grounds us in our bodies; helps us to see how nature is so intricately woven into our existence; magnifies how sacred Mother Earth is, and therefore, how sacred we are; and amplifies how connected we are as we begin to notice the synchronization of the moon to our womb cycles whether we menstruate or not. Juliane Nowe and I are teaming up to share some of this goodness in a Yoga and V-steaming class happening on Thursday January 30th from 7-8:30. Pre-registration is required so that you can safely experience a V-steam according to your needs. We are creating a sacred and confidential space for you to be a part of and can't wait to share with you! I'm sharing lots about the benefits of V-steaming on my social media these days. Contact me if you have any questions! Sending love beams in all directions. Hello, lovelies!
Happy Winter Solstice!! Inhale, haaaaa. That's my pleasurable sigh. Hope you joined me for it. ;) During this busy and sometimes stressful time of year the Winter Solstice is an opportunity to pause and breathe (as above) and to step back and look at what's really important about this time of year. For me this is an important time to be in nature, connect with the beauty around me, and tend to my inner self. Mother nature offers us so much, and she appreciates it when we take time to thank her for all she gives. I like to show gratitude by enjoying the way the sun sparkles on the snow and shines through the trees. I love taking in the outlines of the trees now that the leaves are gone and admire their beautiful shapes. I love to ask the evergreens permission to touch them and then breathe in the incredible smell they leave on my hands. After a walk in the woods or on a trail I always feel lighter and clearer so I thank mother nature for that too. For Solstice I'll also spend time indoors at my altar meditating, pulling cards, writing affirmations, and setting intentions for this new season/year. And I'll definitely take some time to connect with my center, my internal home, my womb, and offer her any love or space or movement she may be calling for. This feels like such a special day! And I love how this season brings out the generosity and kindness in people. On that note I would love to offer you a free preview of Week 1 of my Moon and Womb Cycles Online Course. Week 1 is associated with the season of Winter; when we look at nature we see that this is a time of deep rest. Week 1 of our cycle offers us that same opportunity if we allow it. Moon and Womb Cycles Online Course gives you the opportunity to connect with nature, the moon, your womb, and your cycle. Even if you don't menstruate you are still connected to nature's rhythms. They are still there to share wisdom, knowledge, balance, harmony, and peace with you. So that is my hope for you in receiving this gift from me - that you will feel the power and beauty of the connection between nature and the womb, and that you might begin to see the experience of being a woman as deeply magical and powerful. Those of you that will connect with this wisdom are here to show people another way of being; a new (but very old) way of showing up in the world as a feminine spirit in balance with the masculine. And because I'm feeling absolutely abundant during this amazing time of year I'm offering select V-steam herb blends and V-steam consultations at reduced prices for today only! Also, follow me on Instagram for a free video series for Empaths and Sensitives. What I share will help you navigate the holidays with ease. <3 May your holiday season be peaceful, restful, restorative, and grounding, if that's what you wish for yourself. Hi, friends:
I hope you've had a great summer and are enjoying the transition into fall! It's been a while since I've written. I could say that I've been extra busy with my garden and the travelling I did in August but I'll be really honest, I've been a little nervous about sharing with you the direction I am taking with my work and my offerings. :) Some of you have been here for years and know me back from my days teaching Yoga at Satori. I've grown and changed a lot since then so of course the work I share with the world has too. This medicine is so important and needed right now that I've realized it's a bit selfish to hold back from sharing it for fear of what people might think. So, I step in... As it becomes more and more obvious that our natural world, the environment, and Mother Earth are in desperate need of our help and love and respect I feel more and more called to Womb Wisdom. What is Womb Wisdom? It can be many things. Most significant to me right now is how guiding women to connect with their wombs naturally inclines them to connect more deeply with Mother Earth. It's hard to describe how or why this happens but it so clearly happens that I am often in awe. We come from the womb and we come from the earth. We consume food and water from the earth everyday; we walk on her; we breathe in her air. These are integral parts of being human. These are integral parts of the earth. (I plan to do a blog post on my personal journey with Womb Wisdom soon and will share it here when I do) This medicine is a return to our true selves, and a return to our Earth Mother. She is precious and she holds and supports us. As we hold our wombs without judgement and with love, we hold her. We nourish each other and this is what the world needs. I offer from my heart to yours the following offerings. Sacred Woman Soiree Sunday Sept. 29th 6:30-9 Movement Meditation New Moon Intentions Creativity V-Steaming What is V-Steaming? It's a sacred practice that helps with all PMS and Menopause symptoms; infections; fibroids; cysts; infertility; feelings of disconnection to your body, your womb, your feminine self, your power, your sensual and sexual self, and so much more. I continue to offer Coaching for Women. As always sessions are tailored to your individual needs, dreams, and desires. Lately I am inspired by the process of Re-Parenting ourselves and how truly effective and powerful that can be. I'm also seeing amazing results for women who are willing to explore their limiting beliefs around what it means to be a women in our world today and how that shows up, especially when around men. Did you get to see the full moon last week?
Gosh, she was beautiful! Do you feel that magnetic draw to her? Your mouth opening in awe, your breath pausing, as she appears from behind the clouds. Or maybe you find yourself a bit more sensitive, a bit more emotional around the full moon time? It's not just in your head. As women it's so natural to feel that connection. Our menstrual cycle is tied to the same cycle as the moon. And not just our cycles but also our emotions, our creativity, and our healing. Just as the animals in the forest behave differently around the full moon, so do we. Just as the moon pulls the tides, she also pulls at our emotions and our sense of self in this world. Sounding like you? I've got the perfect course for you to dive into. A 4 week online course, called Moon and Womb Wisdom, that begins when you choose and ends when you choose. The course is set up over 4 weeks to align with the 4 phases of the moon but you can continue to explore with it for as long as you'd like, for as many moon cycles as you'd like. So picture this...each week you are aware of where you are in your cycle and where the moon is in it's cycle. You get to learn more about that connection. You get to explore and experiment with this material through guided meditations, dance, and journaling prompts. And you get to head outdoors during this beautiful time of year to play with the nature prompts, feel that deep connection to Mama Earth, and let your creativity be ignited. And that creativity moves through you with the creativity prompts and dancing meditations that suit the moon/womb phase you are playing with. This journey is bound to help you feel more connected to your body and to yourself as a woman, to nature and the creative being that you naturally are. To remind you of how powerful you are and how powerful honouring the feminine can be. To feel more in touch and more in tune with the rhythms of life, creativity, productivity, seasons. And that you are not failing if you're own internal rhythm does not match up with the speedy pace the rest of the world moves at. Not at all. It's an incredible gift to yourself, or to a special woman in your life, to play with this online journey. Happy Summer Solstice, friends! How are you celebrating today?! I started my celebration this morning with meditation. Then I headed to Odell and greeted everything with love and gratitude. I sent kisses to the bids singing, the tall trees dripping rain water on me, the streams alive and flowing, the sweetest little wildflowers, the sky overhead, and the beautiful earth under my feet. I ran with my arms open to the sky, giggling and exclaiming "Thank You"! :) We have so much to be grateful for! I love how nature supports us throughout our journeys. Think about the food you're drinking today and where that came through. And how the food you're eating came to be. The fresh air in your lungs. How good you feel and how well you sleep after a day spent outdoors. This time of year offers so much abundance! Other ways to celebrate Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, and mid-way point of on the calender: - Sun Salutations - Be in nature, hug a tree, stand barefoot in the grass or the ocean or a stream - Have a bonfire representing the light and strength of the sun and how it helps everything, including you, to grow - Greet all the seedlings and shoots and growing plants in your garden - Gather friends and share in the abundance of local food; dance, sing, make music together; laugh -Write out what you're grateful for - Create little Summer Solstice notes or cards for your friends - And lastly, sign up for any of my services and receive $10 off! May you receive abundance in your hearts, your soul, your relationships, your finances, your work and play, and all other areas of your life. If you find yourself wondering... Why is she offering this course? What's it for? How does it work? What's it's purpose? That's all good! I realize that connecting with the moon and your womb cycle might seem kind of out there for some people and that's okay. The more I learn about myself and practice being authentic in who I am the more I realize that I am here to do things a little differently, to show people a different way, to open eyes and hearts a little. :) If you feel called to do something a little different and to learn more about who you are authentically, read the Q&A below.
These are some of the most popular questions I've received about the Dancing Your Moon Cycle Online Playshop: What does Playshop mean? It's a play on the word "workshop", because who wants to work more? Why not play? Why am I offering this course? There are many reasons I am offering this course. One of them being that when a family member of mine began menstruating I heard one of her parents say "Why would anyone like it? It's gross and it's messy" and intrinsically I knew I wanted to be a part of changing this perception. There are many more reasons why and I'll be sharing them over on our FB Event Page if you're interested. What is the purpose? The purpose is to connect you with your natural rhythm so that you can honour it and live a happier, healthier life. Sounds simple and it is! When we tap into our body wisdom through dance, creativity, nature, our wombs, journaling, etc. we can receive so much guidance on what's good for us and what's not, as well as how we can live our lives in a way that feels nurturing, sustainable, and joyful. Maybe even magical! Who is this Playshop for? It is for everyone! I think you'd benefit the most though if any of these apply to you: - You feel a connection to nature and want to foster that connection - You know that there is more to your cycle than that one uncomfortable week per month - The moon feels magnetic to you, you are affected by it, or you love to moon gaze - You know deep down that you are creative and want to express that - People in your life say that you are sensitive, emotional, or intuitive - You love to dance, meditate, or journal - You experience PMS symptoms - When I tell you that you are innately powerful, beautiful, and creative you feel a twinge in your body that lets you know it's the truth How does it work? After you register you will receive an email prompting you to create a login for my website. All the material is offered there on a weekly basis according to the phases of the moon - new, waxing, full, and waning. You will also receive access to a private Facebook group where you can ask questions, share and support other womxn participating in the workshop, and take part in the weekly Live Connection with me or view the recording if you can't make it live. How do I register? You can register by connecting with me via text (506-449-5380), email (natalierachelbrewer@gmail.com), Instagram or Facebook. How much time does it require? It requires as much or as little time as you choose. You will benefit from it the most if you commit 2-5 hours per week towards it. It's all fun stuff! And because of the nature of this journey you might notice it slowing creeping into your life outside of those 2-5 hours. Do I have to do everything you suggest? No. The playshop is self-lead and you can pick and choose what you want to do. All parts are optional. More questions? Reach out! I'd love to hear from you. :) |
