Earth Womb

4/22/2021

As it becomes more and more obvious that our natural world, the environment, and our earth are in desperate need of our help and love and respect I keep getting called back to womb wisdom.

Womb wisdom can be many things. One of the most significant pieces of it for me is how guiding womxn to connect with their wombs naturally inclines them to connect more deeply with nature. It's hard to describe how or why this happens but it so clearly happens that I am often in awe. We come from the womb and we come from the earth. We consume food and water from the earth everyday; we walk on the earth; we breathe in their air. These are integral parts of being human.  These are integral parts of the earth.

I first noticed this a while ago, when I offered the online course Dancing Your Moon Cycle. But actually it goes back even further to a Reiki session with Jocelyn Clark (Reiki Cottage) when she suggested I read Wild Feminine by Tami Lynn Kent. She generously lent me that book which I didn't pay much attention to for probably another year. And then when I picked it up again everything I read resonated. All of it. How womb wisdom connects us to the wild, to nature. How it connects us to our ancestors. How deep long held patterns of conditioning, emotion, and stories can be held here. During this time I also realized I was doing some deep holding in my own womb. Physically, yes there was tension, but I knew that tension was associated with something bigger. And as I continue to explore this medicine and let go more and more of what's holding me back from being authentically who I am, and feeling connected deeply to nature and the earth, I return to parts of me that have been lost for a long time, and parts of the womxn in my family that were shut down for many, many reasons.

I sometimes think that things like womb wisdom become fads. Just like how Yoga, and ancient science and art, has become a fad. And that discourages me to be honest. I guess because these things start to be approached without the respect and reverence they deserve.

If I told you that you carry a sacred seed in you that allows the human race to continue, and to continue to evolve physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, would you believe me? If I told you that this place in your temple, your body, is the root of all your creativity and that it connects you to all the womxn who have come before you and all the womxn who have come after you, would you feel that remembering in your body? And if I told you that you are connected to a sacred cycle which is connected to the cycle of the moon, nature's seasons, and the rhythm and heartbeat of the earth, would you then feel a piece in you open up to reveal this sacred wisdom that's been passed down through centuries?

These are just some of the things about our wombs that deserve respect and reverence. And the earth deserves just as much respect and reverence, if not more.

It's no surprise or coincidence that nature has been neglected, trampled on, destroyed around the same time in history that womxn have been deemed the lesser sex, witches were burned, we've been paid less to do the same work as men, etc. etc. I don't want to go too much into the negative. But sometimes it's needed in order to open our eyes and hearts. If reading this makes you feel something, that is a good thing. Can you be with those feelings? What are they telling you?

Feelings and womxn and the earth is a whole other blog post that I'll share with you some day. And there's so much more about womb wisdom to share. For now know that you deserve all the love, respect, equality, abundance, joy, prosperity, opportunity, kindness in the world! And so does the earth. <3

Winter Solstice Love!

12/21/2019

Hello, lovelies!
Happy Winter Solstice!!

Inhale, haaaaa. That's my pleasurable sigh. Hope you joined me for it. ;)

During this busy and sometimes stressful time of year the Winter Solstice is an opportunity to pause and breathe (as above) and to step back and look at what's really important about this time of year.

For me this is an important time to be in nature, connect with the beauty around me, and tend to my inner self.

Mother nature offers us so much, and she appreciates it when we take time to thank her for all she gives. I like to show gratitude by enjoying the way the sun sparkles on the snow and shines through the trees. I love taking in the outlines of the trees now that the leaves are gone and admire their beautiful shapes.
I love to ask the evergreens permission to touch them and then breathe in the incredible smell they leave on my hands. After a walk in the woods or on a trail I always feel lighter and clearer so I thank mother nature for that too.

For Solstice I'll also spend time indoors at my altar meditating, pulling cards, writing affirmations, and setting intentions for this new season/year. And I'll definitely take some time to connect with my center, my internal home, my womb, and offer her any love or space or movement she may be calling for.

This feels like such a special day! And I love how this season brings out the generosity and kindness in people.

On that note I would love to offer you a free preview of Week 1 of my Moon and Womb Cycles Online Course. Week 1 is associated with the season of Winter; when we look at nature we see that this is a time of deep rest. Week 1 of our cycle offers us that same opportunity if we allow it.

Moon and Womb Cycles Online Course gives you the opportunity to connect with nature, the moon, your womb, and your cycle. Even if you don't menstruate you are still connected to nature's rhythms. They are still there to share wisdom, knowledge, balance, harmony, and peace with you. So that is my hope for you in receiving this gift from me - that you will feel the power and beauty of the connection between nature and the womb, and that you might begin to see the experience of being a woman as deeply magical and powerful. Those of you that will connect with this wisdom are here to show people another way of being; a new (but very old) way of showing up in the world as a feminine spirit in balance with the masculine.

And because I'm feeling absolutely abundant during this amazing time of year I'm offering select V-steam herb blends and V-steam consultations at reduced prices for today only!

Also, follow me on Instagram for a free video series for Empaths and Sensitives. What I share will help you navigate the holidays with ease. <3

May your holiday season be peaceful, restful, restorative, and grounding, if that's what you wish for yourself.

Moon and Womb Wisdom

Did you get to see the full moon last week?
Gosh, she was beautiful!

Do you feel that magnetic draw to her? Your mouth opening in awe, your breath pausing, as she appears from behind the clouds. Or maybe you find yourself a bit more sensitive, a bit more emotional around the full moon time?
It's not just in your head. As women it's so natural to feel that connection. Our menstrual cycle is tied to the same cycle as the moon. And not just our cycles but also our emotions, our creativity, and our healing. Just as the animals in the forest behave differently around the full moon, so do we. Just as the moon pulls the tides, she also pulls at our emotions and our sense of self in this world.
Sounding like you? I've got the perfect course for you to dive into. A 4 week online course, called Moon and Womb Wisdom, that begins when you choose and ends when you choose. The course is set up over 4 weeks to align with the 4 phases of the moon but you can continue to explore with it for as long as you'd like, for as many moon cycles as you'd like.

So picture this...each week you are aware of where you are in your cycle and where the moon is in it's cycle. You get to learn more about that connection. You get to explore and experiment with this material through guided meditations, dance, and journaling prompts. And you get to head outdoors during this beautiful time of year to play with the nature prompts, feel that deep connection to Mama Earth, and let your creativity be ignited. And that creativity moves through you with the creativity prompts and dancing meditations that suit the moon/womb phase you are playing with.

This journey is bound to help you feel more connected to your body and to yourself as a woman, to nature and the creative being that you naturally are. To remind you of how powerful you are and how powerful honouring the feminine can be. To feel more in touch and more in tune with the rhythms of life, creativity, productivity, seasons. And that you are not failing if you're own internal rhythm does not match up with the speedy pace the rest of the world moves at. Not at all. It's an incredible gift to yourself, or to a special woman in your life, to play with this online journey.

Dancing Your Moon Cycle Online Playshop

If you find yourself wondering...
Why is she offering this course?
What's it for?
How does it work?
What's it's purpose?

That's all good!
I realize that connecting with the moon and your womb cycle might seem kind of out there for some people and that's okay.
The more I learn about myself and practice being authentic in who I am the more I realize that I am here to do things a little differently, to show people a different way, to open eyes and hearts a little. :)
If you feel called to do something a little different and to learn more about who you are authentically, read the Q&A below.
These are some of the most popular questions I've received about the
Dancing Your Moon Cycle Online Playshop:

What does Playshop mean?
It's a play on the word "workshop", because who wants to work more?
Why not play?

Why am I offering this course?
There are many reasons I am offering this course. One of them being that when a family member of mine began menstruating I heard one of her parents say "Why would anyone like it? It's gross and it's messy" and intrinsically I knew I wanted to be a part of changing this perception.
There are many more reasons why and I'll be sharing them over on our FB Event Page if you're interested.

What is the purpose?
The purpose is to connect you with your natural rhythm so that you can honour it and live a happier, healthier life. Sounds simple and it is!
When we tap into our body wisdom through dance, creativity, nature, our wombs, journaling, etc. we can receive so much guidance on what's good for us and what's not, as well as how we can live our lives in a way that feels nurturing, sustainable, and joyful. Maybe even magical!

Who is this Playshop for?
It is for everyone!
I think you'd benefit the most though if any of these apply to you:
- You feel a connection to nature and want to foster that connection
- You know that there is more to your cycle than that one uncomfortable week per month
- The moon feels magnetic to you, you are affected by it, or you love to moon gaze
- You know deep down that you are creative and want to express that
- People in your life say that you are sensitive, emotional, or intuitive
- You love to dance, meditate, or journal
- You experience PMS symptoms
- When I tell you that you are innately powerful, beautiful, and creative you feel a twinge in your body that lets you know it's the truth

How does it work?
After you register you will receive an email prompting you to create a login for my website. All the material is offered there on a weekly basis according to the phases of the moon - new, waxing, full, and waning. You will also receive access to a private Facebook group where you can ask questions, share and support other womxn participating in the workshop, and take part in the weekly Live Connection with me or view the recording if you can't make it live.

How do I register?
You can register by connecting with me via text (506-449-5380), email (natalierachelbrewer@gmail.com), Instagram or Facebook.

How much time does it require?
It requires as much or as little time as you choose. You will benefit from it the most if you commit 2-5 hours per week towards it. It's all fun stuff! And because of the nature of this journey you might notice it slowing creeping into your life outside of those 2-5 hours.

Do I have to do everything you suggest?
No. The playshop is self-lead and you can pick and choose what you want to do. All parts are optional.

More questions? Reach out! I'd love to hear from you. :)
